An organization of family historians, some with Toronto roots, others who live in Toronto, we have ancestors around the world.

April 2022 meeting – online

Our next Toronto Branch meeting will take place on Monday, April 25, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). It will be entirely online via Zoom and open to all, but please register in advance.

We’re looking forward to a presentation by the always entertaining speaker Paul Jones. This month, Paul’s going to tell us about an intriguing character he stumbled upon in his research and why he was driven to find out more about him. This man proved to be a member of a secretive society with connections around the world, and his life story spans four countries on three continents. You won’t want to miss Edvard August Schüth: An Accidental Biography

We’ll also enjoy a short presentation by Ann Brown on plans for the Ontario Genealogical Society Conference in 2024 and how you can get involved.

NOTE: The presentation was recorded and is available to view on our Recordings page until about May 31.
