Our April Toronto Branch meeting took place on Monday April 24.
This month, we explored online resources for tracing Holocaust victims, survivors and displaced persons. Librarian and genealogist Kaye Prince-Hollenberg demonstrated how to navigate and piece together available records from major collections as well as small regional repositories. We also learned about efforts to trace and document Jewish families in particular towns and cities.
We began the evening with a short presentation by Linda Reid who asked the question: Have You Considered Big Y DNA Testing?
The presentations were recorded for future viewing. Linda Reid’s mini presentation is available on our recording page. Click here to view it.
The main presentation is now available on our Members-only pages. Click here to sign in with your OGS password.
