Are you new to family history… or maybe feeling a little rusty? Now’s your chance to learn or brush up on the fundamentals of genealogy and make sure that your research is on the right track.

This fall, Toronto Branch is offering an eight-week course on Wednesday afternoons, beginning on October 19, on Basic Genealogy and Family History. Taught by author/lecturer Jane E. MacNamara in a friendly, supportive class environment, this course will cover all you need to know to move forward with confidence. Learn about terminology, types of sources, the use of on-line resources, libraries and archives and record-keeping… and how to “think like a genealogist”.

Visit the course page for further details and to register online.
