A HALF-DAY COURSE ON SATURDAY MARCH 28 FROM 10AM TO 3PM INCLUDING A 1-HOUR LUNCH BREAK
Registration for this course is now closed.
This fast-paced course introduces some of the types of records and techniques needed for researching your family tree. It highlights vital records (civil and church), census records and probates (wills), showing how to extract and evaluate data. Secondary sources are touched on in the course and examples are shown of how to use online newspaper indexes as finding aids and how to use newspaper accounts of events to flesh out other data.

She volunteers in the Toronto Family History Centre and speaks at genealogy conferences and workshops throughout Ontario.
