February Meeting

Our next meeting of 2014 will take place on Monday 24 February beginning at 7:30 in the evening at the Burgundy Room, North York Memorial Hall, 5110 Yonge Street in Toronto (convenient access from the North York subway station). 1. The Juggler's Children cover

Author Carolyn Abraham will be our featured presenter at February’s meeting – she will discuss the research for her book, The Juggler’s Children: A Journey into Family, Legend and the Genes that Bind, and how DNA testing helped her to identify her family origins. Copies of the book will be available for sale. Take the opportunity to find out about our Branch courses and projects and catch up with other family history enthusiasts during our mid-meeting break, and then enjoy an additional short presentation by Branch member Cathy McNamara on “Looky, Looky, I’m So Booky…old books about my ancestors“. Hope you can join us!
