An organization of family historians, some with Toronto roots, others who live in Toronto, we have ancestors around the world.

February 2022 meeting – online

Our next Toronto Branch meeting will take place on Monday, February 28, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Eastern Time). It will be entirely online via Zoom and open to all, but please register in advance.

Author Susan Moyer will share the very personal story of her journey to find and put together the missing pieces of her own family history puzzle. It all began when she learned as a teenager that she was adopted, with only the date and place of her birth to go on.

Susan Moyer’s book The Lonely Child was published in 2018.

Susan’s search for answers over more than three decades took her to New York, Toronto and Ireland, led to some amazing discoveries, and moved her to push for law reform to help other adoptees.

Please join us for Who am I? Where did I come from?

We’ll also enjoy a short presentation by John Webb on The Toronto Cornish Association, Then and Now. Find out what the TCA is doing to celebrate and preserve the unique culture and heritage of Cornwall.

The presentations were recorded and the recording is available to view until March 28. Click here to access it.
