An organization of family historians, some with Toronto roots, others who live in Toronto, we have ancestors around the world.

March 2022 meeting – online

Our next Toronto Branch meeting will take place on Monday, March 28, beginning at 7:30 p.m. (Eastern Daylight Time). It will be entirely online via Zoom and open to all, but please register in advance.

This month, our featured speaker will be Dr. Marianne Fedunkiw, a Toronto historian, writer and playwright. In Serving in Serbia during WWI, Dr. Fedunkiw will tell us the fascinating story of some intrepid British physicians who didn’t take no for an answer when they were told they couldn’t join their country’s medical teams on the front lines in the Great War… because they were women.

We’ll also enjoy a short presentation by Devin Meireles on A Portuguese Ancestry Story
