March 2024 meeting—Online

The March Toronto Branch meeting took place on Monday, March 25.

Forensic genealogy is a new buzz-word these days. But what exactly does it mean? Professional genealogist Christine Cochran explained forensic genealogy and how it is applied with the help of some real-world examples. The presentation Forensic Genealogy: The new frontier was recorded and is now available to view until about April 23.

Also included is the “opening act”—a short presentation titled The Baton and the Little “Black” Box. Branch member Bonnie Bell offers a cautionary tale for anyone thinking they’ve found it all!

Click here to watch the recording of both presentations. They will be available until about April 23.

And watch our Calendar for information about Branch events coming up in the months ahead.
