Our June Toronto Branch meeting will take place on Monday 22 June starting at 7:30 pm at the Burgundy Room, North York Memorial Hall, 5110 Yonge Street in Toronto (convenient access from the North York Centre subway station).
Popular Toronto Branch instructor James F.S. Thomson will be our featured speaker at the June meeting. In his presentation on Recent Developments in British and Irish Research, he will update us on some intriguing recently-released resources that promise to be of interest to family and local historians alike.
Be sure to drop by our information tables during our mid-meeting break to find out about Branch courses, workshops and other activities, as well as new volunteer opportunities. After the break, enjoy a short presentation by Branch member Patricia Blackstock on 1837 Rebellion – York Region.
We will be live-streaming our June meeting for those who are unable to attend in person. For instructions on how to connect to our live feed, visit our Live Meeting Stream page. We hope you’ll be able to join us – either in person or on-line.
Please note that there will be no Branch meetings in July and August, but regular monthly meetings will resume in September.
